I am 81 years old and have been a State Farm home and auto policyholder for most of the past 50 years. I have lived in California, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and now Georgia. My loyalty to State Farm has been because of the outstanding support and service that I have received from my State Farm agents and the company.

When my girlfriend Kathryn moved from Pittsburgh to Savannah Georgia to be near her grandkids, I recommended that she insure her new townhome with State Farm. Since the purchase and financing was done remotely from PA with the help of a local realtor, she somehow ended up with Savannah Park as her State Farm agent, two and a half hours away from Savannah, GA.

Until now, this has not been a problem, since inurance coverage service has not been required.

Unfortunately, now assistance is needed with filing a claim for accumulated wind damage from Hurricanes Idalia and Helene. Since Kathryn is 76 and disabled, she at times requests my assistance with her business matters, which is why I am involved.

Our initial call was several weeks ago when Savannah was not available, so we left a message for a call back. That message must have gotten lost, because a return call was never received. A month later, a letter from State Farm Underwriting was received informing that Kathryn's Homeowner Policy would not be renewed at the end of its current term in December, unless her roof was replaced before then.

On Tuesday afternoon of this week, Kathryn and I called Savannah Parks office a second time, for assistance with getting the necessary claim filed. We spoke with Clarissa, who was very patient and professional. She promised to have Savannah call us back as she was not in the office at that time. She also provided Savannah's email address so that we could send her any documentation relative to the insurance claim. I sent Savannah an email the same evening, providing documentation and pictures of roof repairs that I paid for following Hurricane Idalia as well as both our contact information.

No response yet, but it has only been a couple of days. Hopefully we can get this claim filed and processed soon, so that this review can be completed. Update to follow."
